October means Scholarship

Applicants

There are two scholarships directly related to Arleigh Burke, one funded by Admiral Burke trust, the second funded by the Association, with similar requirements

• 3,000 annual scholarship awarded to an Anchor scholarship applicant who is the dependent (child or spouse) of a current or past USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51) sailor (officer or enlisted)
• ​recipient must meet all Anchor Scholarship application requirements
• scholarship is funded in its entirety by the Arleigh Burke Trust / Arleigh Burke Association
• One additional requirement for the Association scholarship is the sponsor must be an Association member (free to current Arleigh Burke Sailors, otherwise $20.)

Note: look over the list of Anchor Scholarships carefully, you may be eligible for other available scholarships.

The Association needs to raise $3300 to fund the 2024 scholarship. Any amount helps.
