The Arleigh Burke Association is partnering with the Tin Can Sailors Association for our 35th Anniversary of Commissioning Reunion & Celebration in Warwick, Rhode Island.
The Tin Can Sailors annual reunion is

The Arleigh Burke Association 35th Anniversary Dinner will be at the Warwick Crown Plaza on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at ____ pm.
There is a flat fee for the Arleigh Burke Dinner of $65. This includes the dinner and a 35th anniversary lapel pin.
DDG51 Association Ball caps and 35th anniversary challenge coins will be available for purchase at the event. (May / may not have a Peter Hsu drawing.)

If registration cost would prevent any prior DDG51 sailor from attending, please reach out.
If you attend only the DDG51 event, you do not need to register with TCS.
Attire is sharp casual attire, carry damage control handbooks, wear shoot-em-in-the-face ball caps.
For those attending the TCS reunion, there will be additional opportunities for sharing sea stories with DDG51 ship mates, plus other greyhound of the sea sailors. DDG51 will have a hospitality room in the hotel. Depending on number of attendees, this may be a private room or shared with another ship. Self catering is permitted for the hospitality room – e.g., snacks & “liquid refreshments.”

– Aug 24 (Monday) Day tour Newport, RI (potential visit to the Naval Station Newport Rhode Island)
