Change of Command
On July 23, 2026, Commander Jamie Jordan relieved Commander Ethan Reber, becoming the 26th Commanding Officer of USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51).
This wasn’t a routine handover. It came on the heels of major combat operations, with ARLEIGH BURKE distinguishing herself in the eastern Mediterranean. CDR Ethan Reber handed off a ship forged in real combat and left her stronger than he found her. CDR Jamie Jordan stepped into that watch ready to build on it.
